March 21,22&23rd. Roger and Ken from Long Beach Ca. Fished the south fork Coquille on the 21st boating 14 including one 12# native chrommer. The 22&23rd we fished the North Umpqua, we caught fewer fish but more quality fish. 5 on the 22nd and seven on the 23rd. The weather was nice all three days but the wind got us a little the last 2 days. Roger and Ken are no strangers too side drifting for steelies and were a pleasure to have in the boat. Today the 26th I have a group of four (two boats) A combined effort of 9 fish, on the north Umpqua. Plan on the south fork Coquille tomorrow will let you know how this turns out.
