Subject: Report 12-30-02
Greetings; best to all in the New Year. May peace on earth and "no-nukes" be the Lord's way.
"Our special holiday gift (year 2003) certificate for our "premium" package is still available for $50 off ! Visit our web page for more info: < www.texasfishingguides.org/snyder/ > Fishing! That's what everyone is getting anxious for. We are booking trips as weather permits and client time allows. Be aware; we're in a transition period with fishing getting better. Call for up dated info. As for the weather and water temperature being the determining factor, things may be starting to change. We haven't yet had any severe freezes from the north. If the 'El Nino' pattern stays in charge, we might get the early surge of Red fish we had last January. We boated just over " 4000 " Reds this past year !!! As of 12-30-02 there has been early action for ' white bass' on our river trips. They haven't filled in real heavy yet; last year they stayed scattered. We are working Choke Canyon area, between the deer hunts. It' been beautiful out, river has been calm and staying pretty clear; it makes for a great river adventure for those looking for something new. Yet, I really feel that we are going to see some 'reds' this next month. The boats are getting cleaned, new electronics are installed, baits are being re-stocked, and lubrication of drags are being done to prepare for those "spring screamers!" There are some stripers being caught bottom fishing with bait; good days and slow days; but that's typical in spring. The year 2002 showed us "at least" four stockings of "Reds" from what I have gathered from the fisheries guys. Numbers look as though there were 3-4 times the numbers we normally get at Braunig and Calaveras. Please stay in touch for your next great adventure. So, ..... may screaming drags and monstrous fish romp in your dreams!
......keep your worms frisky!
