Subject: Afternoon Report for October 16, 2000
Lake Lavon
Water Temperature: 73 Water Clarity: 6"
Fished a ½ day trip today (Monday) with Jim Rohrer & his brother Ralph. We caught 13 bass, only 1 of those would not have kept and well over 70 healthy sand (white) bass. Our bass were caught on Bandit chartreuse crankbaits and Gene Larew Texas-rigged red shad worms. All of our bass came from 4 to 7 feet of water fishing secondary points with stumps. The fish bit so well today that I really wish I had fished the tournament on Sunday. I really feel like fishing will only become better as the water cools. For all of you who fished with me and are mentioned in this report "Thank you" I look forward to fishing with you all again in the future!
If I can be of more help or assistance regarding a trip or "Bassin' Class" please contact me at 972-414-5189 / 800-965-0350 or by e-mail at FISHWJEFF@msn.com. The "Fat Girls" are up and can be seen at http://www.fishinwithjeff.com and you can receive more information on my full-time guide service & "Bassin' Class." Should you, your Club, Organization or Church be interested in a large group "Bassin' Class" please contact me for more information regarding rates and availability. Fall is one of my favorite times to fish on Lavon and with the lake having plenty of water the North end should be GREAT! I am currently booking trips for now, as well as Fall. Until next time.......Good Luck & Tight-Lines!!!
