Subject: Weekly Lavon Report

Water Temperature: 88 - 93
Water Clarity: 3’

Fished a ˝ day on Monday with customer Greg LeMay and then another ˝ day on Tuesday with John Franz and his son. On Monday, this was a bass trip, we started off using Lockhart white buzz-baits because of the high winds and put three in the boat then after that the Drop-shot rig & Carolina-rig put the remaining fish for the morning on the ends of our lines. Fishing these rigs from about 6 to 18 feet deep. The fish appeared to be really stretched out for us. We used Genen Larew salt frys in the colors of black/blue and chartreuse pepper. Then on Tuesday, I was really expecting to load the boat with sand bass. We had good cloud cover and the fish began to come to the surface and as soon as they got there they were gone. It was that way all over the lake. We caught fish but nothing like I wanted too. We caught them on Lockhart Chuck-n-spins and Blakemore roadrunners in white and chartreuse. For all of you who fished with me and are mentioned in this report "Thank you" I look forward to fishing with you all again in the future!

If I can be of more help or assistance regarding a trip or "Bassin’ Class" please contact me at 972-414-5189 / 800-965-0350 or by e-mail at FISHWJEFF@msn.com. The "Fat Girls" are up and can be seen at http://www.fishinwithjeff.com and you can receive more information on my full-time guide service & "Bassin' Class." I am currently booking trips for summer. Lavon has an abundance of crappie, bass & sandbass. The sandbass fishing is a great way to entertain customers, new fishermen & kids! The next "Bassin’ Class" is scheduled for July 28th, the cost is $75.00 & $35.00 for students through high school. including a $25.00 deposit. Until next time……………Good Luck & Tight-Lines!!!
