Subject: Lake Lavon Report

Lake Lavon

Water Temperature: 66 - 68
Water Clarity: 1 ½’

I had a ½ day trip Saturday afternoon with repeat customer Don Morgan and his son. We caught our fish on Lockhart white & white/chartreuse spinnerbaits and chartreuse Bandit crankbaits. Our fish came from 1 to 9 feet of water fishing the creek channel ledges in the coves and off main lake points. Lake Lavon looks to be around 8 or 9 feet low. This lake can really produce some quality fish for me in the fall. We caught 3 fish over 5lbs. and had one of those just over 7 pounds. For all of you who fished with me and are mentioned in this report “Thank you” I look forward to fishing with you all again in the future!

If I can be of more help or assistance regarding a trip or “Bassin’ Class” please contact me at 972-414-5189 / 800-965-0350 or by e-mail at FISHWJEFF@msn.com. The “Fat Girls” are up and can be seen at http://www.fishinwithjeff.com and you can receive more information on my full-time guide service & "Bassin' Class." I am currently booking trips for this up-coming Spring and the fall is my most favorite time of the year to fish. So give me a call and lets go! Lavon has an abundance of crappie, bass & sand bass. The sand bass fishing is a great way to entertain customers, new fishermen & kids! The next “Bassin’ Class” is scheduled for December 8th, the cost is $75.00 for adults & $35.00 for students through high school including a $25.00 deposit and will be held at my home in Sachse. Until next time……..Good Luck & Tight-lines!!!
