Subject: Musky Fishing in The Hayward Area

We are heading for another goofy fall. The weather is WAY warmer than usual and this along with several high pressure fronts that have stacked up back-to-back right after turnover have made for a couple of the toughest weeks of fishing (for any species) that many in these parts can remember. The best action is coming on the shallower flowages with the deep clear lakes being very slow. If the weather snaps and we can get some good wind and cold days things will turn around, if not, it could be another long fall chasing the queen of fresh water fish.
