Subject: North Platte River Special

The North Platte River has just completed its' annual spring flushing flows. (the river is cycled from extreme high water to low water throughout the week, the effect is to remove the sediment so the fish can spawn effectively.) Water temps are running in the high 30's. Midges are continueing to hatch and some bwo's on cloudy days. Patterns that seem to be working best are scuds, leeches, and small midge patterns.
