Subject: Lakes Norfork & Bull Shoals Fishing Report

BOTH LAKES CONTINUE TO DROP SLOWLY, AND WATER TEMPERATURE IS IN THE MID TO UPPER 80’S.

ON BULL SHOALS, WILDERNESS TRAIL REPORTS THAT THE BASS BITE HAS BEEN TOUGH, WITH SOME ACTION AROUND BRUSH PILES AND DOCKS, ALSO ON BLUFF POINTS.
TRY SPIDER JIGS, HULA GRUBS, OR TEXAS RIGGED WORMS IN GREEN OR BROWN COLORS.
THERE IS STILL SOME TOP WATER ACTION ON SPIT’N IMAGE OR CHUG BUGS EARLY IN THE DAY.

WALLEYE ARE RUNNING ABOUT 42-48’ DEEP, AND SPLIT SHOT RIGS OR CRAWLER HARNESSES WITH GOLD OR SILVER BLADES HAVE BEEN BEST.

ON LAKE NORFORK, CRANFIELD JUNCTION SAYS THE BASS ARE SLOW, WITH A FEW BEING TAKEN ON WHITE 1 OZ JIGGING SPOONS.

AND BLUEGILL CONTINUE TO HIT AT 40-45’, TRY CRICKETS OR BELGIUM RED WORMS.

STRIPERS ARE STILL SPREAD OUT FROM ROBINSON POINT TO THE DAM, AND PART WAY INTO BIG CREEK.
THEY ARE HITTING EARLY AND LATE IN THE DAY, AND ON SOME DAYS UP TILL 11:00 AM.
THEY ARE 35’ TO 55’ DEEP, ON BLUFF WALLS AND POINTS, ALSO IN CUTS OF THE CREEK ARMS AND MAJOR COVES.
TROLLERS ARE STILL CONNECTING, HYPER STIPER JIGS IN BLUE/WHITE OR CHARTREUSE/WHITE WITH 4” TAILS ARE THE LURES TO USE, TRY ½ OZ ON DOWNRIGGERS, ¾ OR 1 OZ ON FLAT LINES.
LOOK ALONG THE EDGE OF THE RIVER CHANNEL AND OFF THE DEEP ENDS OF FLATS.

THE WHITE AND NORFORK RIVERS CONTINUE TO BE GOOD, WITH BERKLEY POWER EGGS IN WHITE OR YELLOW, ALSO BELGIAN RED WORMS STILL WORKING BEST.
FOR BROWNS, TRY SUSPENDING ROGUES OR SHAD RAPS IN THE EARLY EVENING.

UNTIL NEXT TIME, THIS IS RON SCHNEIDER WISHING YOU PEACE AND GOOD FISHING!
