Subject: Lakes Norfork & Bull Shoals Fishing Report


HI FOLKS!
THIS IS RON SCHNEIDER WITH THIS WEEK’S FISHING REPORT.

BULL SHOALS HAS COME UP SLIGHTLY THIS WEEK, AND LAKE NORFORK HAS DROPPED A LITTLE MORE.
TEMPERATURE ON BOTH LAKES IS IN THE UPPER 60’S TO LOW 70’S.

ON BULL SHOALS, WILDERNESS TRAIL REPORTS THERE IS TOP WATER ACTION EARLY IN THE MORNINGS ON ZARA SPOOK JR., POP-R’S, & CHUG BUGS.

LATER, TRY WHITE OR SILVER JIGGING SPOONS IN 40’ TO 45’ OF WATER,
ALSO CAROLINA RIGGED FINESSE WORMS OR BRUSH HOGS.
BEST COLORS HAVE BEEN WATERMELON, GREEN PUMPKIN, OR WATERMELON CANDY.

WALLEYE ARE IN THE CREEK ARMS, LOOK IN 40’ TO 50’ OF WATER,
TRY JIGGING SPOONS OR BALL JIGS IN RED OR CHARTREUSE TIPPED WITH A MINNOW.

ON LAKE NORFORK, FISHERMAN’S ANNEX REPORTS BASS ACTION WITH SPINNERBAITS PART WAY BACK INTO THE CREEK ARMS, ALSO WHITE JIGGING SPOONS IN 40’ TO 60’ OF WATER.

CRANFIELD JUNCTION TELLS US THAT TROLLING BLUE & WHITE HYPER STRIPER JIGS HAS BEEN CATCHING SOME NICE FISH IN THE DEEP WATER NEAR THE MAIN CHANNEL, ALSO PART WAY INTO MAJOR COVES AND CREEK ARMS.

THERE HAVE BEEN SOME NICE CRAPPIE COMING IN, TRY MINNOWS OFF THE DEEP BRUSH PILES IN 15’ TO 25’ OF WATER.

ON THE WHITE AND NORFORK RIVERS, BERKLEY POWER EGGS IN FLOURESCENT YELLOW, RAINBOW NUGGETS, AND BELGIAN RED WORMS ARE STILL CATCHING SOME NICE FISH.
