Subject: Lakes Norfork & Bull Shoals Fishing Report

HI FOLKS!
THIS IS RON SCHNEIDER WITH THIS WEEK’S FISHING REPORT.

BULL SHOALS HAS DROPPED SLIGHTLY THIS PAST WEEK, WATER TEMPERATURE IS IN THE LOW 50’S.
ON LAKE NORFORK, THE WATER TEMPERATURE IS IN THE UPPER 40’S , WITH STABLE LAKE LEVEL.

WILDERNESS TRAIL SAYS THE BULL SHOALS BASS HAVE PULLED BACK OUT TO THE BLUFF WALLS AND LARGER COVES AND CUTS, IN THE MAIN LAKE AND PART WAY INTO THE CREEK ARMS.
JIGGING SPOONS OR SMALLER PLASTIC BAITS IN SHAD COLORS HAVE BEEN WORKING BEST.

FOR CRAPPIE, TRY BRUSHPILES IN 30’ OF WATER, YELLOW FUZZY GRUB JIGS OR SWORDTAILS ARE WORKING WELL, AS ARE SMALL JIGHEADS IN WHITE OR CHARTREUSE TIPPED WITH A MINNOW.

ON LAKE NORFORK, CRANFIELD JUNCTION REPORTS GOOD CRAPPIE ACTION ON SMALL MINNOWS AND JIG COMBINATIONS.

FOR BASS, SMALLER TUBE BAITS AND GRUBS HAVE BEEN WORKING IN A VAIRIETY OF CRAWDAD OR SHAD COLORS.

STRIPERS ARE IN THE CREEK ARMS AND ON MAIN LAKE FLATS IN THE MID SECTION OF THE LAKE, ALSO FROM CRANFIELD ON UP.
SMALLER LIVE BAITS OR JIGGING SPOONS ARE TAKING SOME NICE FISH, WITH A 24 # REPORTED TODAY ON A 3” MINNOW IN 50’ OF WATER.

ON THE WHITE AND NORFORK RIVERS, NOT MUCH HAS CHANGED, WITH GOOD RESULTS REPORTED ON WHITE OR YELLOW BERKLEY POWER EGGS.
