Subject: Florida Peacock Bass

This afternoon a great couple Chad & Stephanie Steward from Bolder Colorado decide to fulfill a desire to go catch Peacock Bass, the affordable way, in Miami Florida. Eventhough we got rained on and cloudy and windy, we caught fish. Chad struck first with a nice 3.5lb peacock swimming a tube bait down deep. With the wind kicking up a bit we started throwing chug bugs, which led to 3 or 4 strikes. Then there was a massive explosion on a fire tiger chug bug, surprising enough it was a 5 lb. Largemouth. Then we tried throwing countdown rapala's and husky jerks in hope to catch a snook to complete "The Grand Slam," which is, in the same day catching a peacock, a largemouth and a snook. With no success we moved on till Lady Luck hooked into a nice 4 lb. peacock on a shiner, followed by another then another. Chad dedicated to artificial lost at least a 6 lber. on a skitter pop. The day consisted of 8 peacock's 1 largemouth and a lot of laughs. The picture tells it all, if your looking to catch fish, and have a good time give "The Hawghunter" a call. He guides 7 days a week and waiting to take the next angler to experience the power of the Peacock Bass. The Bass today were caught on Skitter pops, countdowns, tubes, jigs, chug bugs and shiners. Good Fishin' Capt. Frank Carbone
