Subject: Bermuda Bones

There are bonefish to be caught on the island of Bermuda. I was there late March of 2003. Precious few flats but the fishing is good after the water hits 70 degrees in late April according to the locals. Saw no one with a flyrod the week I was trying. West side above West Whale Bay Park is best but access is limited. Munro Beach flat is the largest aznd is accessed by following the shoreline at low tide for the incoming. Bones are big here. Bunny flies are best patterns. Floro leaders a must. Fish are very spooky!
