But having read the recent postings I must add my TWO BITS WORDS O WISDOM - please stop getting too techinical and suffer anxiety over gears and drags and centrifugal force, rockwell hardness, tensile strengths etc...la di da....(hehehehehe)
JUST ENJOY FISHING MANO.
Last night I went with my ferrari reel and my mitchel rod with gear ratio and drag all accounted for - and out came an old codger - white beard and and all - and he caught 4 cat fish. and i caught N O T H I N G ...teeheehee. That was bout 1.30 AM. Finally he came to me and gae me a whopper - bout 5 kgs to take home. Old guy Ive known for bout 7 years. And guess what - HE WAS FISHING WITH A HAND HELD WIRE....Bugggger.
HAHAHAHAHAH
tHAT reminds me ----when the americans spent about a billion dollars to invent a pen that could write upside-down in space to counter the effects of gravity on the flow of the ink, the russians simply used a pencil!!!! Yuppppeedippeeedooo.
