HI Asaad, just as Hatem said, rods & reels need to be cleaned.

The rods can get a good wash down in a bath tub. Dont forget to rub each & ever guide to ensure that it is clean. If there is any dirt left, it could sever your line when you cast.

For reels, the spool can be taken out & washed with the shower spray. the reel body & handle can be wiped with a damp cloth. If your reel is a sealed reel, then you can rinse it lightly under a tap.

DO NOT fit the spool back on the reel until it is dried properly (in the sun), else the bearings may seize.
