Subject: Amberjack Bite

It has been a while since I have posted a message and there is not a better time. The Hard Tails are all over the pass and the jacks are covering the taller wrecks. We are catching our limits - Here is the trick: 1.) Self setting circle hook on 5ft 50lb leader with a swivel. 2.) 8oz led above the swivel 3.) Using a live Hard Tail-fish about 40-60% of the depth. When the fish hits let him take the bait and do not jerk - once he has munched - start reeling him off the wreck. If you are holding up on the spot the Captain should pull off the wreck to prevent cutting you off. Have Fun - the bite is hot!
