Subject: Offshore Freeport, Texas


Well after reviewing all of the TRASH reports on other boards, I decided to give you an accounting of 5-29-2000 charter. We were anchored at Tall Rock and fishing for anything, but mostly for snapper. We did manage a respectable catch of keepers, but nothing to write home about.

Here is the climax of the whole day: We landed a 6'2" long SAILFISH on a flat line using herring for bait. How about that!!!!

It just goes to show everyone that you will never know what you will catch fishing offshore!!!!!!!
