sabine lake fishing has improved with the incoming tide the bait is coming in with the strong incoming tides also bigger trout also showing up in good numbers we have fished the south end of the lake trout are showing up on the reef to the east on the louisiana shore line redshade wedgetails the best bait for me 1/8 as the water clearsgo to glow/chart reactions chub minnows we are boxing trout 17 to 20 inch the flounder bite is getting better i am catching flounder to 3 lbs this will get better as the weather warms up redfish and still on the banks of the louisiana shoreline and feeding on mullet i am still sight fishing these redfish.
