Subject: Fishing Report

In the past month the speckled trout fishing has been great, looks like this will continue through out the rest of the spring and summer. Last week I fished Dr. Tony Saca and we had a stringer of 20 trout(limit) that weighed 55#. Also had two good friends (clients) from Dallas--Bob Stout and Betty Keith fish for two days with a combined catch of 60 trout(limit) 5 redfish, and (1)4# flounder for a weight of 154#. The water is murky because of the wind so live shrimp fished with an "Austin Clicking Popping Cork" is the best choice in about three feet of water. Redfish are here and they should start being more aggressive as the spring continues. As the water clears look for good artifical action including "Top Water" in the early mornings. Charters are booking up fast for Apr. and May so when you get your dates down for a visit to the Port Isabel/ So. Padre Island area give me a call for a reservation at 1-800-943-6282 or email on the link provided.
