Subject: Fishing Report - Eyre peninsula & West Coast

Locks Well is really firing with salmon to 3kg and good numbers of tommies and trevally.

Convention Beach also has salmon and tommies and good salmon catches were again reported from Almonta and Gunyah beaches.

Jetty anglers found tommies, squid and snook at Elliston, while nearby Salmon Point provided whiting, sweep and trevally.

Yellowtail Kingfish have excited anglers at Port Lincoln lately, turning up in Proper Bay, around Boston Island, at the town jetty and wharf and even in the marina.

Early morning anglers at Port Neill are catching salmon from the breakwater and yellowtail whiting from local beaches. The jetty has tommies, squid, garfish and snook, but there were no boats launched due to the weather.
