Subject: Fishing Report - York Peninsula

Wallaroo jetty continues to provide good catches of blue crabs. Most fish are coming from the outer half of the jetty, mainly tommies, garfish and mackerel at present.

Boat crews couldn't venture out to whiting and snapper grounds due to the wind, settling instead for good inshore catches of garfish and blueys.

Point Turton's jetty anglers braved the elements for a few garfish and squid.

Stenhouse Bay jetty yielded lots of tommies and a surprise catch of an 8.2kg snapper for one lucky visitor.

There are snook and salmon in Pondalowie Bay and more salmon in Dolphin Bay.
