Subject: Season closed in Argentina

The Argentinian Patagonia trout season closed completely in May 31st. The new season will open, depending on the areas, as early as Nov 1st 2001 or as late as Dec 15th 2001.
So far, we'va had a significant amount of rain and snow, way above normal. If the winter keeps the same pattern, we will have the second high water year in a row. This usually means bigger than average fish, but usually harder to catch. An dryfly fishing, apearing later in the season, but with bigger bugs than usual.
