please find attached a link with some information you requested. in fact, getting licences for the various rivers around zurich isn't that easy but I'd rather focus on the lake of zurich and the greifensee. feel free to contact me for more detailed information.

Hello, I've been looking around for some resources on fishing in switzerland. I'm an avid flyfisherman who lives in california but will be relocating to Zurich in a year or so. I've heard from my swiss relatives that it is difficult and/or expensive to get fishing licenses for the local rivers, but easier for lakes. Could someone kindly give me a basic rundown of the costs of licences for rivers and lakes in the zurich area? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yes i've had Carp from Zurichsee usually in July , mainly Commons upto 6kg but broken by a large Mirror a couple of years back . Caught them while catching bream + tench in c 2 metres of water on sweetcorn .....great fight ! |

DONT KNOW ABAOUT LAKE ZURICH.. BUT IF YOU HEAD SOUTH WEST YOU WILL COME TO A LAKE CALED VIERWALD STATTER SEE. DRIVE ROUNT THE SHORE TILL YOU GET TO A SMALL TOWN ALLED BRUNNEN THERE ARE SOME BIG FISH THERE,, INCLUDING CARP I ESTAMATE THE CARP TO BE 30-50LB IN WIGHT. |
