Subject: what bait when shore fishing for trout
I have been enjoying fishing loopers by the french river on the north shore, but never seem to have the right bait or presentation. I have used spawn sacks, crawlers, and even bobber fished. Can you give me some help? or ideas to try and what is the peak time to fish and the best weather conditions ,, thanks a million dewey Johnson |

Subject: Fish Report on Lake Superior
Trout and salmon fishing has been good when the Easterly winds have baked off for boats to get out. Fish are being caught in seventy feet of water from the surface down to thirty feet. Break out your downriggers and dipsy divers. The St. Louis River has been producing limit catches of walleye. Remember the best time to go fishing is when you can.
