Subject: Dry fly fishing and pig rainbows...North Platte R.
We are thankful to have plenty of water in our tailwater section (Grey Reef) on the North Platte River. Big rainbows abound and they are fighters. Our private lease (mountain stream) is fishing super now. The best dry fly action for nice wild trout that exists today. Give us a call, 307-472-9190. Quality trips for reasonable rates with all flies, lunch, included. |

Subject: Big, wild rainbows on the North Platte River
Now that the river flows below Grey Reef have been increased to 2300 cfs, the pig rainbows are on a massive feed. The hatches and water temps are just right for great fishing. These fish are big and they fight like landlocked steelhead. If you like big, jumping, sassey rainbows this is your river. Expect not see big crowds, expect to see big fish and few other anlgers. Subject: World Class Rainbow Fishery (North Platte,WY
The weather has finally turned nice, and the fishing is great. BWO's and midges are hatching each day now and the Rainbows are feeding heavily. The spring spawn is beginning to wind down. The flows are still low, but we expect higher water sometime during the first week or two of May. Currently 750 cfs. The water temps range from 40-46. This is a great rainbow fishery, simply put...its' the best in the country. Huge fish and lots of them and they are wild fish, free of WD. |

Subject: The North Platte River in WY just gets better
The bows are agressive on the river. BWO's and midges are hatching every day now. The river is low and clear and running at 750 cfs. Best patterns are small PT's, midge patterns, small baetis emergers and san juan worms and a small variation of "the worm". Weather is somewhat unpredictable so be prepared with layered clothing and raingear. |

Subject: North Platte River Special
The North Platte River has just completed its' annual spring flushing flows. (the river is cycled from extreme high water to low water throughout the week, the effect is to remove the sediment so the fish can spawn effectively.) Water temps are running in the high 30's. Midges are continueing to hatch and some bwo's on cloudy days. Patterns that seem to be working best are scuds, leeches, and small midge patterns. We are offering a "stock market" blues special during March and April for our float/fishing trips on the Grey Reef section. Huge Fish!! Huge Savings!! Your Satisfaction Guranteed. |

Subject: Huge Rainbows on the North Platte River in Wyoming
The river is flowing at winter flow rates....600cfs. The water temps are beginning to warm up....38 degrees. Some hatches are beginning in the afternoons....small midges and some BWO. Small soft hackles, small olive caddis emergers, and streamers, leeches, wooleybuggers are working great. Fish are feeding agressively most likely preparing for their spring spawn which occurs in April. This is the best river in the US for big wild rainbows. |
