Flag poles are required to hoist your boat flag during boating trips. Aluminum and wood are some of the common materials that go into the construction of flag poles. When selecting a flag pole, make sure that it has a durable finish and is preferably maintenance free. It is best to buy a flag pole which has a waterproof finish to ensure that it will not rust or break away due to constant contact with marine weather. They should be easily portable and the flag pole’s size must correspond to the area where the flag pole is to be placed.

Dive flags are used by boaters when they are diving into water. It is essential to use them during diving, as they help to warn the surrounding boats that there is a diver down below and so not to cross the same area as the diver.
