Fishing Hooks |

Fishermen are exposed to a wide array of fishing hooks as there are designs for almost every type of fishing and lure. Fresh water hooks are different from salt water hooks in both materials and designs. Fresh water hooks have off set eyelets and wide radii in the hook body. Salt water hooks are often galvanized and have rotational offsets for secure hook setting.
Then there are treble hooks incorporating three barbs on each unit. All hooks come in a variety of sizes and are indicated by number. The smaller the number, the larger the hook. For example a size 2 hook is larger than a size 8. Purchasing hooks is similar to buying cars; people tend to go with ones they are familiar with and ones they have confidence in.
