Lately, fishing has been like the weather, hot one day and cooling off the next. Smallmouths are confused, not knowing when the weather will stabilize to start spawning in the main lake; water Temps (main lake) are STILL in the mid 50's with minimal spawning on shallow main lake humps and shoals. Shallow bays and coves are showing considerably more spawning activity. Action is best along dropoffs using a Gold Bomber Long "A" and black/gold #11 Rapala. If and when the weather does stabilize, action will be explosive. Please remember, catch and immediate release only until June 15.
