Subject: New York Fishing
Lake Trout fishing has picked up in recent weeks with nice catches reported . Most fish are being taken on or near the bottom with stick baits and flatfish lures behing christmas trees . Silver / red nose flat fish have been hot . Suspended Lakers are also being taken on Sutton and Mooselook Wobbler spoons in the 80-120 ft. range . Salmon fishing continues to be spotty and anglers are anticipating the bass opener on the third Saturday of June.....Water temps are cooler than normal for this time of year due to a chilly and damp spring . Surface temp. on the lake was 55degrees on June 6th , therefore , there are still a few lakers and salmon cruising the surface areas... |
