Crappie are hitting very well on Reelfoot Lake in Northwest Tennessee.

Fishing in 8 to 12 feet of water using minnows in the Lower Blue Basin area of the lake. Large stringers are being caught on nice days to fish.

Took a trip to Douglas Lake to crappie fish April 8-10. Caught a few fish. They were in 3 to 10 feet of water. Caught most of the fish early in the morning or late in the evening.
