Subject: Benifit Tournament June 2,2001
Please check our www.bassangler.com and click on Lee King Benefit Buddy Tournament. You can dounload the application there. Lee King if suffering from Niemann-Pick Type C disease and there is no cure at this time. we are trying to raise funds for the Niemann-Pick Foundation in an effort to save little Lee. On the same day as the adults are fishing, we will host an event for children 9,10, 11 and 12 years of age at Old Creektown Park in Eufaula, Alabama. The first 300 to register will receive a rod and reel combo. We will furnish the bait and equipment. During this time the children will fish with Christian Fishermen, spend time with a Christian Clown Ministry and also spend time with youth Pastors. We will be witnessing to these kids and will have plenty of qualified counselors on hand to work with the child as he/she makes a decision to follow Jesus Christ in thier lives. We will also have an event for the children 8 and under at the Playground of Dreams at the front of Old Creektown Park. There will be Christian counselors there to witness to the parents on these children. We will have hot dogs, drinks, horse rides, Clowns with face painting and baloon animals for the kids. All these will be avaliable for nominal donations that will all go to Niemann-Pick on behalf of Lee King. Rev. Terry Chupp ffrom Team Jesus Ministries will be with us all weekend. Please pray for our effort and come out and support this worth while cause. Check out the web sites linked to bassangler.com.
Any donations can be sent directly to Niemann-Pick on behalf of Lee King.

Subject: Up-date on Fish Attractors
Our Eco-Tourism committee worked over 10 hours on Sat. 4/21/01 with the U.S.Army Corps of Engineers in Ft. Gains, Ga. constructing over 80 of the new Owen Wall attractors to be installed on the Alabama side of the river in the coming week. These locations will be GPS'd and mapped for the general public. If you would like to see one of the attractors and how they will be when under water, stop at the Driftwood General Store on 431 North in Eufaula. Tim Lynn, owner, will be glad to share with you the concept and maybe how to retrieve your lure when hung up. This is a proven system and we are glad to be getting them in the water. Experts claim it only takes a few weeks before they become productive as a fish haven.
