Subject: Trout fishing on fire!
It's the time of year we all wait for - the fall feeding frenzy in the Upper Kenai River. If you like to hook rainbows over 20 inches long (dollies too) come before the end of September and get in on the fun.
Fish a perfect dead drift with the right salmon egg imitation and not only will you hook up with around 70 trout & dollies each day, but you'll have a chance at something truly huge - up to 20 pounds with fish over 5 pound relatively 'common'.
If you aren't sure about techniques and patterns, any of several local guide services can teach you how to fish the river on a day trip and you can fish on your own very successfully afterwards. |

Subject: Kasilof River Steelhead & Silvers
Steelhead and silver salmon fishing is excellent at this time on the upper Kasilof river . We have enjoyed limit catches the last several trips. Bait is still legal and steelhead may be retained above the Sterling highway bridge. The fishing is also good elswhere on the Kenai Peninsula for silvers, trout and steelhead. Subject: Trout Fishing at its Best
Fall is a beautiful time on the upper Kenai River and taking a drift down with a fly rod connecting with a nice trout makes for a great day of fishing. |

Subject: Fall Trout Fishing
Just a reminder that the fantastic fall trout fishing is right around the corner. August and September are the best months of the year for rainbows and dolly varden on the upper kenai river. The salmon are getting ready to spawn and when this happens, the trout go on a feeding frenzy and we have some unbelievable days on the river. |

Subject: The Kings are in !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The mighty King Salmon are now in all major Alaskan rivers with good catches being reported on the Kenai, Deshka, Alexander, and Kasilof rivers. Salt water fishing off Deep Creek is at its peak with huge halibut being taken between the tides. |
