Subject: The walleye are still hot!

Just beyond the midway point in the world famous Detroit River walleye fishery and the fishing is still good. A lot of the fish are moving shallow in the mid river areas. Most of the fish my clients and I caught this week came from 10-15 ft of water. The warm temperatures will surely have the smallmouth thinking about spawning in the river and adjoining lakes. Right now the main river temp is about 55 degrees.
