VOYAGER SUBMERSIBLE HANDHELD

The Uniden Voyager Submersible Handheld model is an ultra compact marine radio; in fact the world’s smallest VHF. But its size defies all the ultra-modern features of a deck mount that it comes equipped with. It has JIS7 waterproof specifications and can withstand being submerged at a depth of 1m for 30 minutes without any damage. It comes with a 3 year water protection warranty that covers all manufactured parts and service, even water intrusion.

The Voyager picks up all NOAA emergency weather channels with weather alerts and S.A.M.E. (Specific Area Message Encoding) weather alert. Therefore, during a NOAA Weather or Emergency Alert, a code for the specific location will alert the user about severe conditions in the immediate area. It picks up all USA, International and Canadian marine channels to keep the user abreast with all marine activities. The Triple Watch PlusTM helps monitor the emergency channels 16 and 9, besides other selectable channel plus weather alert. The model comes with a backlit keypad and LCD display for convenience in night-time usage. It has all rubber grips and seals, and also a flexible rubber antenna. The memory scan feature allows the user to scan all channels saved in memory. The package comes along with a radio transceiver, antenna, power-source rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery, AC/DC adaptor, charging cradle, a reference guide and a wrist strap. It has 1 Watt / 5 Watt transmit power capability. There is an optional speaker and microphone also available for the set. The radio is capable of receiving 89 US/International/Canada channels and transmitting 54 US/International/Canada channels. The radio is capable of withstanding temperature a range of -20 (-4°F) to 50°C (122°F). Besides its small size, it weighs just 250g (8.8 oz) with battery and antenna.

Therefore, even though the Uniden Voyager Submersible Handheld model is the smallest in the market, it packs quite a punch in quality and service.

SHIPMATE 30 AM/FM/CD BLUE

True blue sailors cannot do without one of these. Yes; the state-of-the-art Shipmate 30 is here for you. Coming from Prospec electronics, the company famed for its seaworthy range of products, this is yet another featured filled gadget, allowing you to have the ultimate sailing and fishing experience.

This complete sound system consists of a SEA/2300 Marine Receiver and SEA/6522 ½” blue water speakers. The receiver comes with RCA output, 4x40 watts and a rotary encoder. There is also an automatic preset scan feature along with a clock. The large display is easy on the eyes.

The custom blue water 6.5” speakers produce great sound, even under conditions of extreme duress. The entire speaker unit is UV protected, making it long lasting. The 120 watts of sound is enabled by 20” speaker wire for each speaker. With water proofing features, they make for great mates.

I found some web sites advertising them for around $150. Can I get them for lesser prices, somewhere else? Can some one tell me whether I can order them directly from the company and if so, how long will the shipping take place? If you don’t want to end up being all at sea, get this ultimate companion today!
