im going to be staying at oasis cancun 3/18 - 3/23 .. can anyone give me and info from fishing from the beach or renting a boat for a day .. i am an experienced fishermen just nevr fished down there looking forward to it

Subject: the great sailing adventure
My father and I had the trip of a lifetime. We were told we came to Cancun too early until we met with the sail master, "Butch". On our last day of fishing he put us on them, 16 sails came to call. What a day. We fished just about everyday April 26 through May 2nd 2003. |

Subject: Fishing Charter
Hey guys!
I recently went to cancun with my boyfriend and had a wonderful time. We went deep sea fishing and had a blast. We visited www.internationalfishingcharters.com and got all the information we needed and we were able to book online. It made the trip alot less stressful. You will love it. Cancun is beautiful and the people are really friendly. I deffinately recommend it!!

I would like to do some fishing in Cancun. A week in the months of Febuary or March would fit in my schedule. Any capt there that would respond as how the fishing is then, would be appreciated. We would be a company of 2 possibly 4. If you are open for Charter please include the price.

Subject: Fishing/available species
I live in Rhode Island and am a charterboat skipper here. I also am an outdoor writer and have been involved in filmmaking over the past few years.
I am planning to go to Isla Majoresd for at least two weeks in April maybe longer if I can afford it.
I intend on writing a number of articles and enjoy the fishing there. I
am interested in all the different types of fishng there including the pecock Bass fishing if they are available on the mainland.
Any infor mation I receive will be very well appreciated.

Subject: Report for July 4 week
The offshore fishing has been very good. Reports of:
Dorado, big bulls and females. 8 to 25 lbs.
Shark
Marlin
Sail Fish
Tuna
Bonito
Barracuda
Grouper and Snapper.
Lagoon fishing this week has been very good. Lots of Snook or Robalo as they are locally known.

Subject: Cancun
The bull dorado are being taken now but the majority are still the smaller females. Sails and marlin have been sporatic. The tarpon are rolling in the flats and they are still taking a lot of snook in the 6 to 10lb. range. |

This week started out very windy. The winds slowed down Thurs. and fishing picked up. Today so far today they have brought in about 4 Dorado, some black fin tuna, 1 sail, and a blue fin tuna not to mention the regular daily barracuda and bonito. We've been doing really good flats fishing. Last time out we took 3 snook that all went over 6 pounds one of them over 8. We've been taking them on natural color yo-zuris and small rapalas. I'm attaching a picture of one of the recent ones. The Klaus snook.jpeg is the real fish and the Klaus small fish.jpeg is after I got ahold of it with my picture editor.
