Subject: Santa Cruz Halibut

Halibut Fishing is picking up steadily.
We pulled 7 Halibut to 14 pounds yesterday and have a fish a rod for the past 5 trips up to 27 pounds.
We are still using dead anchovies due to the fact the bait has not arrived yet so the fishing should improve with the settling weather and arrival of the anchovies.

Subject: Monterey Bay Salmon

Over the past weekend we had some decent fishing with great weather.

Our 17 anglers on 3 different trips boated 16 Salmon to 30 pounds!

Not fantastic scores but really good grade with a 12-14 pound average.

The fish are hanging close to home at the Soquel Hole in 200' of water around 4-6 miles from port, making for very comfortable conditions.
Check photos.
