An incredible morning of fishing today "DOWN IN DULARGE"! The bad weather moved out of the area just before daybreak giving us a nice morning to chase the redfish. Fishing for the bronze-backs has been better each day with the higher water levels in the marsh. Today was no exception as we caught over 100 redfish before 11:00a.m.!! I fished with Carlton Johnson, Willert Menard, Sammy "Birthday Boy" Davidson, and Gil McElroy of Lafayette, La. Capt. Alex helped out running the second boat. His crew consisted of Terry McCarthy, Glenn Snapp, Nils Persson and Jonas Persson. Nils and Jonas were in from Sweden and were treated to a great fishing trip South Louisiana style! Both boats limited out easily bringing in 50 redfish, 11 blackdrum, 12 trout and 3 flounder. Another 50 reds between both boats were released to fight another day! Every fish today was caught on 1 lure**the LSU BAYOU CHUB MINNOW** tightlined on a 1/4oz. jighead. Double and triple hook-ups were common today as the reds simply went wild---eating upAeverything in sight! Both groups enjoyed a great adventure this morning and I know they'll be back for more soon! Good luck fishing.

"DOWN IN DULARGE"--A quick report----Day 2 with Charlie Graml, Andrew Chaudoir and George Adams was the best yet! Started off the morning with a big TROUT SLAM on the LSU BAYOU CHUBS. The boys filled the box with 14-17in. trout on almost every cast!!! We followed that up with the REDFISH SLAM with full limits in the duckponds on LSU CHUBS! Incredible numbers of fish caught the past 5 days in the lower Dularge area! Why fish anywhere else? In a hurry--got to go----good luck fishing!

REDFISH HEAVEN "DOWN IN DULARGE"! Great redfish action once again and another beautiful morning in the marsh. The water is back up again with a nice falling tide for the entire morning. Charlie Graml from Texas is back down here for his 5th trip and number 6 tomorrow. Joining him today were George Adams & Andrew Chaudoir. Capt. Bob was helping out with a second boat for the third day in a row taking out Mark Glassmeyer and a friend. We caught approx. 50-60 redfish today(kept our limit of 35 fish) with both groups well satisfied! LSU BAYOU CHUBS(no spoons today) is the ticket as usual ----the fish just love'em! Working the broken marsh in 2 feet of water is the key to success. The reds are in the shallows and if you're not fishing in water 3ft. or less you're not going to be as productive. The reds were scattered today with the higher water and we covered more territory than the past 2 days to fill our limits. Looking forward to another productive and fun day tomorrow. Good luck fishing.

Chased the reds again today "DOWN IN DULARGE" and boy what a beautiful morning to fish. Slick calm the entire morning ---don't know where they got 15-20mph wind in the forecast! May have been too calm as the ponds were like glass and the reds were very spooky with such conditions. My crew of Brian Perry, Randy Theunissen, and Scott Vaughn were good sports and worked hard as we ended the day shortly after noon with 19 reds, 1 drum and 1 trout. We started out fishing the LSU Chubs and Spot Removers and ended up switching to 1/2oz. gold spoons to fill the box. The water was lower than yesterday and we were having to burn the chubs and spinners to keep it off the bottom. The spoons could be worked slower and the reds seemed to prefer the flash today. We worked the big Kenner in mud the whole day catching our fish in 1-2ft. of water. A slow productive day of fishing was enjoyed by all. Good luck fishing.

Reds and Specks "DOWN IN DULARGE"---A very good day of fishing in lower Dularge with Teri Boudreau, John Boudreau, Alec Newberry and Lyle Tubbs. No problem with the reds again with 25 fish in the box by 10:00a.m. I was surprised to get in on some good trout action deep in the marsh catching 48 yellow-mouths in addition to the reds. Everything on LSU and black/chartreuse BAYOU CHUB MINNOWS! The fishing just can't get any better down here!! Taking a few days off but hope to get back out by Sunday. Good luck fishing.

Fair day of fishing "DOWN IN DULARGE". Put in almost 8 hours of hard fishing today while searching for the yellow-mouths. On board today were Richard & Zach Henke, Claire Conrad, and Bo McDougald of Lafayette, La. We fished the lower Dularge area near and far for a total of 50 trout and 2 redfish. We picked at them all morning finding no concentrations of fish. LSU BAYOU CHUBS and SPECK-TACULARS did the damage with trout in the 12-18in. range. A fun crew to fish with today! Good luck fishing.

Hunting the bronze-backs "DOWN IN DULARGE"! Joining me today were Rob "Cover-Boy" Radtke and Big Al Ruiz of Morgan City, La. It was not the typical easy morning of catching limits as we've been enjoying the past 2 weeks. We had to work for the reds today. Not because of a shortage of fish as the big reds were crashing the surface all around us the entire morning. Low water was the culprit today as we simply could not get in close enough to the fish. We did have a good time pecking at the fish as we finished up just 1 redfish shy of the limit. We did have every opportunity to get the last fish as we had no less than 8-10 reds break off or get released by Rob (haha) before getting them to the boat. Before heading in we made a quick stop in Sister Lake catching approx. 25-30 trout with half being keepers. We missed the tide again! Final tally was 14 reds, 15 trout and a Dularge snapper that Al released to bother someone else another day. Good luck fishing.

More great redfish action this morning "DOWN IN DULARGE"! They're plentyful and hungry!! Spotted 2 reds cruising the banks on our way to the honeyhole----slowed down and made a cast catching an 8lb. fish with the big motor still running in neutral! Thats kinda how our morning went for good friend Pat Olivier and I as we saw nothing but RED all morning. We had no problem catching our 10 fish limit, 1 flounder, and a blackdrum but had to switch to gold spoons as the water level was too low to work the chubs in the grass. We saw loads of reds in all 3 locations we fished today with numerous fish all around and under the boat in the shallow ditches and ponds. The lower water levels has the fish moving out of the grass and relocating to the perimeter of deeper ponds. You can pick the ones you want as many fish were completely exposed and others making huge V wakes for easy spotting. Afterwards we made it out to the lake but the tide was at a standstill making it difficult to find the trout. We fished an area that Mas been very productive lately catching 20-25 trout before calling it a day around 11:30a.m. The trout were nice running 12-16in. Really enjoyed the trip with Pat as we seldom get to fish together often enough. Good luck fishing.

REDS ARE RUNNING!!! "DOWN IN DULARGE" is the place to be with everyone cathing fish right now. No problem catching the 20 fish limit with David Keller, Amy Rutledge, Nick Simon and myself. LSU Bayou Chubs, Bucks Safety Spin and gold spoons was the ticket. The water level is dropping a bit but still high enough to go anywhere you want with rising water all morning. Fishing just does not get any better and only a 8 minute boat ride to the fish! Winds are down and it should be great fishing all week. Good luck fishing.

"DOWN IN DULARGE"! Hard to find any better fishing in regards to redfish. Starting to sound like a broken record but the action remains INCREDIBLE with easy and fast limits of bronzebacks. Tracey Reynolds, Troy Melancon, Jeff Joseph and Ben Giroir found out how easy it was catching their limits before 8:30a.m. The guys caught reds, trout, blackdrum and a few flounder----46 total fish !! Every fish was caught on the LSU Bayou Chub on a 1/4oz. jighead reeling with a steady retrieve. Really enjoying the action as the higher than normal water levels have the reds in a frenzy! The great action should remain strong through the end of next week. Only a phone call away!! Good luck fishing.

Incredible redfish action today "DOWN IN DULARGE"! It was a pleasure fishing with Brian Glover(Baton Rouge), Kyle LeJeune(BR), Keith Oswalt(Jackson, Ms.), and Glenn Hoffman(Chicago, Il.). The guys wanted to start the day off with the big reds and we found them stacked up at Last Island. We ran out of bait and left them biting every cast around 9:00a.m. The big fish were feeding heavy on the falling tide as the guys had 30-35 hook-ups! We moved to the inland marsh by 10:30a.m. and the reds were EVERYWHERE! 20 nice reds were quickly put on ice. LSU Bayou Chubs did most of the damage along with Spot-Removers by Bayou Buck. Large white shrimp were skipping throughout the ponds and the reds have followed the bait into the shallow water as the water remains a foot above normal. The redfishing is as good as it gets right now and all next week should be great! Good luck fishing.

Trout fishing the past 3 days "DOWN IN DULARGE" has not been good. Its been down-hill since the full moon and I don't expect much in weeks to come. Depending on where you're fishing, there are plenty of 10-11 in. fish but not many keepers. Yesterday I fished with Bob Boisvert, Jimmy Faircloth, and younsters Zach & Haley. The object of the fishing trip was to get the kids on some fish and they had a blast with non-stop action!!! Redfish and blackdrum gave them all they could handle fishing with crab on the bottom. The largest redfish was near 30 lbs and a huge blackdrum tipped the scales at 58 lbs!! There were plenty of 4-6lb. puppy drum as the action was fast & furious during the first hour of fishing. The day before with Bubba Brown, Logan Hardie, and Philip Brown was a tough day. We fished a full 8 hours catching 5 redfish, 7 blackdrum, 3 trout, and 2 sheepshead. We made 14 stops on that day but could not find any fish stacked. The day before with Calvin and Stephanie Carroll from Alabama was another slow dTy with only a few reds and drum. We concentrated mostly on trout along the coast to no avail. Taking off a few days until Ivan makes up his mind on where he's going. Good luck fishing.

REDFISH IN THE PONDS!!! Easy pickins "DOWN DULARGE" for Tony Strickland and Jake Patrick of Baton Rouge. It was supposed to be a 4 man crew but only 2 people showed up. Both wanted reds and off we went to the shallow ponds north of Bayou Seveur. Jake caught a red on his second cast and I caught one on my 5th cast to start off the action. Two hours later we had caught 22 reds keeping our 15 fish limit. Gold spoons, Bayou Buck's spinners and LSU chubs did the trick. The reds were moving around this morning and it was easy locating fish although half were caught blind-casting the banks. Really easy this morning but sure hated to miss the great trout bite this morning along the coast. The trout were eating up this morning as some friends of mine were finished early with limits of fat trout!! Take your pick---we've got the best of both worlds!! Good luck fishing.

Good trout bite today "DOWN IN DULARGE"!! It was plastic only(LSU BAYOU CHUBS) as we could not get live croakers. Hit the fish at our first and second stops catching 51 nice trout by 10:00a.m. Herb Lott and Amber Gautreaux fished with me today and really busted up the trout on the tantem rigged chubs. Our entire catch was taken fishing oilfield structures in 10-12ft. of water south of Dularge. Bull reds were present too as we caught and released 6 big bronze-backs while fishing for trout. Looking for another good day tomorrow. Good luck fishing.

"DOWN IN DULARGE"----Bishop Reeves, Brian Chamberlin, and Paul Fahrendorf of St. Louis, Mo. joined me today for some great trout/redfish action. The trio was looking to catch some big reds and they got what they came for! From 8:00-10:00A.M. they caught redfish from 18-30lbs non-stop! Double and triple hook-ups were common as the big reds were eating up on the hard falling tide. I ran out of tags today as the guys caught 20 plus reds to tag and release. Afterwards we got on a good trout bite catching 50-60 fish but only had 25 keepers. Speck-Taculars caught smaller fish on the surface with tantem rigged Bayou Chubs catching larger trout jigging the bottom. All and all it was a very good day of fishing and the guys couldn't have had a better time on the water! Good luck fishing.

Bulls are running "DOWN IN DULARGE"! Incredible numbers of fish as the big reds are jamming the passes along Last Island. Redfish from 12-30lbs are everywhere and the action has been non-stop the past few days. On board today were the E&E Machine crew consisting of E.J., Ellen, Kevin, and Hunter Cavalier of Houma/Shreveport. THEY GOT TIRED OF CATCHING FISH! Young Hunter did a great job wrestling the big bronze-backs and everyone enjoyed the trip. Carolina rigged live crabs did the trick as usual. We finished up at noon with full limits of redfish, 1 flounder and a blackdrum. Good luck fishing.

A beautiful day on the water "DOWN IN DULARGE"! Found the yellow-mouths eating up at our second stop on the Last Island beach with steady action for over 2 1/2 hours. Darby Washburn(Coral Marine Services) and Joe Prejean (Conrad Shipyard)of Morgan City, La. kept the bite going all morning by feeding the trout live croakers. We had no problem filling the big Igloo with 75 nice trout and 1 bull redfish by the noon hour. The trout were slamming the croakers hard and averaged 14-16in. with a few 18inchers. The guys had a great time and they are already talking about more trips real soon! Good luck fishing!

A slow start this morning "DOWN IN DULARGE"! Started off the morning fishing for bull reds with Bob Okrzesik and his 2 sons Alex and Mick. After 5 or 6 hook-ups and landing 1 big fish, it was off in search of the yellow-mouths. The gulf was slick but there was not much tide to get the trout feeding early-on. At 11:00a.m. we only had 6 trout and 2 reds in the box. The search continued and we eventually found the trout stacked and eating up live croakers and SPECK-TACULARS on every cast! The trout were very agressive, eating up the cork and all! Two of us were on live croakers and two were on the ST's and everyone was hooked up for about an hour. The guys had a blast as we ended the day with 75 trout(12-16in.) and 2 reds. The guys really had a lot of patience and it paid off in the end. Good luck fishing.

"DOWN IN DULARGE"--Bronze-backs and blackdrum! Good day of fishing for Paul Robichaux and his gang from Destehan,La. Paul wanted to put the kids on some fish and thats exactly what we did! Fishing with Paul and I were Dave Robichaux, Jim Creaghn and son Matt, Brandon Bourgeois, and Casey Rodrigue. Started off chasing the reds with gold spoons and spot-removers. They were finicky today as they turned up their nose to our offerings most of the morning. After hooking up with a dozen reds we soaked a few doz. crabs catching 10-12 blackdrum. The kids had a great time and we filled the big 150Qt. box after a hard days work. Really enjoyed todays trip and I look forward to fishing with Paul in the fall. Good luck fishing!

BAYOU DULARGE ON FIRE!!! Redfish or trout---take your pick! Plenty of average size trout offshore and fast and furious action with redfish on the inside. Todays action was the best yet! Henry Slocum, Paul Stokely and Francis Dubois had the time of their life!! Redfish, trout, flounder, sheepshead and drum all caught on SPOT REMOVERS AND GOLD SPOONS! The inline spinner bait(Spot-Remover) made the difference today as the big reds were chasing it from 3 ft. away!! Just chunk it out 3 or 4 ft. in front of the wake and hold on!! The reds were ripping it up as the guys caught over 40 reds this morning! Trout hit the SR too as we caught 15-20 while hunting the reds. Add a few drum and heads to the mix and the box was full for 8:30a.m. Our 20 fish limit of reds were caught in only 30 minutes this morning and we only were 10 minutes from the launch. You guys better get you some SPOT-REMOVERS as the reds hit it twice as fast as the spoons! They just can't resist the gold blades in the clear water. I'm taking the weekBnd off after a long stretch of fishing every day but will start up again Monday with 11 straight days. The redfish action will continue to be strong the entire months of August and September and we have boats available everyday!! Capt's Alex, Ricky, Greg, and Bob are ready to go!! Good luck fishing.

Great redfish action this afternoon "DOWN IN DULARGE" !!! Easy limits of bronzebacks on 1/2oz. gold spoons for Darby Ledet, Toby Beall, Pat Adams and Tim Granger of Lafayette, La. We caught 25 redfish in just under 2 hours as the fish were knocking the spoons out the water. Also caught a dozen fish on the 4 inch LSU BAYOU CHUB reeling with a steady retrieve. JUST DON'T GET ANY BETTER! Pat caught the largest red weighing in at 12lbs. Most of the reds averaged 18-25in. This mornings trip with Waldo Eubank and Bruce Harris was not as productive as the guys wanted big bull reds only. We fished from Coon Point to Wine Island Pass and all points between. We did not get a single hook-up the entire morning as we could not find the bulls. Finished up with a dozen trout that we caught on the beach in 20 minutes. Good luck fishing.

Another redfish slam again this morning "DOWN IN DULARGE"! Easy pickings as the reds are on the prowl! Waldo Eubank(Mississippi)) and Bruce Harris(Texas) could not believe the action we had with the hungry reds! We were limited out with our 15 fish by 7:30a.m. and we caught and released another 15-20 fish! Everything on gold spoons today! The fish averaged 4-8lbs. We caught reds at nearly every location we fished as we finished up early enough to give the guys a boat tour of the area lakes/inland marsh. Good luck fishing.

Good day of fishing yesterday "DOWN IN DULARGE"! The day started off with a bang with some fast action on the beach. On board were Derrell Haydel, Troy Macloud and Kendrick Ladner. The first couple hours found us ripping up the trout on tantem rigged LSU BAYOU CHUB MINNOWS! The trout averaged 12-15in. and were eating up shrimp in 2-3ft. of water. Eventually the action slowed and we headed offshore ----it was a mistake as we did not catch a single trout once we left the beach. Once arriving back at the beach we picked at the trout with the chubs and live croakers. We ended the day with 72 trout and 1 flounder. The guys were fun to fish with and they hung in tough to produce a nice box of fish. Good luck fishing!

"DOWN IN DULARGE"--After striking out with the bull reds yesterday it was back to trout fishing. Found the trout hungry and eating up LSU CHUBS, SPECKTACULARS and REACTION SHRIMP. Malcom Frey and Charles Riggs had a blast as we caught our 75 fish limits inside and never made it offshore. It was a beautiful morning to fish with calm winds and pretty water. Most of our trout averaged 12-15in. with a few larger fish. Looking forward to another good day tomorrow. Good luck fishing.

It was a stormy afternoon to fish yesterday "DOWN IN DULARGE" but the trout fishing couldn't have been better! ANOTHER GREAT TROUT SLAM!! Leaving the dock at 3:30p.m. in the rain was not a problem as we had the right boat for the miserable conditions. Wilford Scott and Ray Millet greeted me with their 30 footer, cuddy cabin and all. An hour later we were soaking beautiful 4in. croakers in the salty sea and cranking in big trout every cast. Only fished 3 locations catching 70 trout in less than 3 hours! Our second 2 stops had all the action one could stand! The average trout was 18-20in. with a few larger fish. The yellow-mouths were hungry with 3 or 4 fish coming to the surface with the hooked fish. We were fishing in 12ft-15ft. of water and the trout nailed the croakers on the fall. Ray caught the largest trout with a big girl just over 5 lbs. Wilford and Ray went back on their own this morning and I hope they had a good morning of fishing. Good luck fishing.

An excellent day of trout fishing "DOWN IN DULARGE"! The fish jumped all over our live croakers this morning with some of the best action I've seen in weeks! I had a last minute cancellation so I decided to take my family fishing for only the second time this summer. Both of my sons, Brad and Chris Lake joined me today along with Brad's best girl Elise. The weather couldn't have been better with calm seas and a slight NW wind. We only had to make 3 stops to fill up the big 150Qt. box with 86 mules! We could have easily limited out but we ran out of croakers as we didn't plan to fish a long day. Most of our trout averaged 19-24in. and they slammed the croakers hard! Everyone had a blast with great yellow-mouth action at all 3 locations. Hard to get any better than it was this morning. Good luck fishing.

Fished out of Dulac yesterday with Capt. Alex and the "Z" group. Not a pretty morning with storms moving in all morning. After a 7 hour wait at the camp we finally were able to hit the water at 12:30p.m. We fished until 7:50p.m. as the sun was setting on Last Island. We fished from the Picketts west to SS28 with only 18 trout for our efforts. Ended up back on the beach catching another 20-25 trout on LSU Chubs and live croakers to make the catch respectable. Good luck fishing.

"DOWN IN DULARGE"---A really nasty day south of Houma today. Plenty of rain along the coast depending on where you were. We managed to find the rain as we only fished 2 locations. Leroy Peterman and Joseph LeMay were up for the challenge and we got lucky! Our first stop found us catching 30 nice trout and our second stop produced 34 more for a total of 64 trout. The Reaction U-99's did it again with our entire catch coming off the space guppie colored lure. Freelining them in the current was productive for 2 days in a row. Storms ran us in early after a couple hours of fishing but the wet ride was worth it. Looking forward to trying it again in the morning. Good luck fishing.

DULARGE TROUT ACTION ON FIRE! It was another very good morning of trout fishing and the weather couldn't have been any better. Fished today with a great group of guys consisting of Mike Hamilton, Bill Wilson, Dale Mouch and David Hamilton. Our first stop fishing over oyster reefs only produced 6 fish. We found the trout stacked up and hungry at our second stop. Plastic was the name of the game today with Reaction Lures LSU and Space Guppy U-99's and LSU Bayou Chubs doing the damage. The trout turned up their nose to our live croakers but smashed the plastic almost every cast! Casting downcurrent and allowing the bait to drift with the current was the key to success. The trout would slam the U-99's and chubs on the fall about 3-4ft. down the water column. The guys had a blast as we caught our 125 fish limit in short order. The fish averaged 14-18in. with some 12 in. fish too. It just don't get any better than it was today. Thanks guys for a fun day on the water. Good luck fishing.

Fast and furious trout action this morning "DOWN IN DULARGE"! Really incredible numbers of trout today off Last Island. I'm sure we caught over 200 fish with plenty of undersize fish thrown back. Must have been THOUSANDS of trout in the area we fished today with shrimp jumping out the water all morning! If the trout didn't get them the birds would pluck them off the surface ---the shrimp didn't have a chance! My crew today consisted of Bruce Burgess, Terrell Whitman, Brady Hebert, and Ed Burgess from Jeanerette, La. The guys put a whipping on the trout and had a great time doing it! Sure was a fun bunch to fish with. Drifting with the trolling motor was the key to success as we caught everything on tantem rigged LSU BAYOU CHUBS! Once again the fish turned up their nose to our live croakers. We called it a day around noon with 118 trout in the box. The fish averaged 12-15in. with some larger fish at times. It was a beautiful day to be on the water with calm seas. (except for the major rainstorm that hit us 5 Finutes from the boat launch)Good luck fishing.

P.S.---Special thanks to Capt. Alex Gravois for helping out with a second boat. Kevin Barre and his crew limited out with 125 trout----all on plastic!

Plenty of fishing today "DOWN IN DULARGE" instead of catching! The fish won today as our final tally was 26 trout and 1 flounder. On board today were Bobby Watts, Bill Cox, Mike Uter, and Ken Riche. Our day started out with a 30 minute rainstorm and we witnessed an early morning waterspout around 7:00a.m. Out of 15 stops we found trout at only 1 location. The bite ended just as fast as it started as they were slamming the LSU Bayou Chubs -----for only 10 minutes. We couldn't get a trout to look at our live bait as it was one of those days. Maybe the next few days will be better as we continue the search for the yellow-mouths. Good luck fishing.

"DOWN IN DULARGE"---Good to get back on the water after taking last weekend off. Hot day out there today with no rain to be seen. The trolling motor made all the difference today as we had to keep on the move to catch our fish. Fishing with me today were a great group of guys consisting of Carlton Johnson, James Blakeney, Scott Johnson and Kirk Smith of Lafayette, La. We arrived at our first location at 7:10 a.m. and found the trout eating up on every cast! Thirty quick fish hit the deck in the first 15 minutes of fishing. We began drift fishing shortly afterwards picking up nice trout but nothing stacked up. After an hour or so we had nearly 50 fish in the box and we decided to check out some other areas. Long story made short----we found no fish at all elsewhere and ended up back where we started. Picked up right where we left off and had 87 trout by 11:00a.m. Everything was caught on tantem rigged LSU and Avocado Bayou Chub Minnows reeling with a steady retrieve. Live croakers produced zero as the fish wo"ld not touch them until we reached our final location. Our last stop on top the oyster reefs produced 13 trout giving the guys their 100 fish limit. We had to work for them today but it was certainly worth the effort. Nothing big as most fish averaged 12-15in. with some nice 16-18in. fish mixed in. Just right for deep-fryer! Tomorrow should be another good day. Good luck fishing.

Another very tough day of fishing "DOWN IN DULARGE"! Fished behind Last Island and took a beating looking for clean water. I fished with Rick and Ron Gibbs as they wanted to give it a try. 80% rain but we didn't get a drop ----just too much wind!!! Capt. Greg Yancey helped out with a second boat taking Sheriff Ronnie Book and his crew from Catahoula Parish. We combined for 40 trout and 1 redfish with Capt. Gregs boat catching 32 of the 40 fish. Yep, the sheriff and his boys put it on us! Live minnows was the ticket! Patience paid off for Capt Gregs crew as they found a few fish and remained on anchor picking at the fish. Both groups decided to cancel their second day of fishing for Friday. We'll get back after the trout as soon as the weather settles down. Good luck fishing.

Tough day "DOWN IN DULARGE"! Stiff SW winds did us in today with only 11 trout to show for our efforts. I cut the full day back to a 1/2 day trip for Matt Parra and David Jones with no complaints. We caught our few trout along the coast in chocolate water with the wind howling. The guys fished hard but it was just too slow with a trout about every 15-20 minutes. Didn't have enough boat to fish the surf off Last Island and one stop at a local favorite platform in 2 1/2ft. seas produced a goose egg. Too much wind and seas to sample the other areas out west today. I can tell at the time of this posting that Matt must be back in Lafayette as the winds are starting to calm!! (HaHa) Good luck fishing.

Filled the big 150Qt. box yesterday "DOWN IN DULARGE". Started off the morning with a fast & furious bite on the beach with Mike "Tank" Theriot, Terry Aucoin, Big Al Ruiz, and Rob "Cabella" Radtke catching 60 trout in 20 minutes!! Double rigged LSU and Avocado Bayou Chub Minnows did the trick as the trout were herding the shrimp against the sand with no place to go. The trout averaged 12-16in. and were eating up like no tomorrow! The guys were pulling them in the big Kenner 8 at a time! We made another move down the beach picking up another 30 trout on live croakers and plastic. The Morgan City slammers were not finished as we made a move to deeper water to finish off the limit with a flurry of 2-4lb. trout on croakers. Gave the reds a try down Askew Bank on the way in but only found 2 takers in spite of Rob's fully stocked Cabella's saltwater arsenal. Final tally was 125 trout and 5 redfish. Always a pleasure to fish with Rob's Raiders as he always seems to put me on the fish!! Good luck fishing.

A great day of fishing yesterday "DOWN IN DULARGE"! Good to fish again with Bill & Rhonda Wilson from Gillsburg,Ms. Chris and Sandra Pace of Clinton, La. joined them for another great Dularge trout slam. We fished some plastic and mostly live minnows catching 80 nice trout and 1 redfish. The trout fishing has been excellent with big numbers of fish caught the past few days. Really enjoyed the day with this group as everyone had a great time! Good luck fishing.

"DOWN IN DULARGE"-Started our day off the Dularge coast and was greeted with 15 mph winds and very dirty water. I figured after our first stop the trout fishing would be tough. Made the circle from Coon Pt. west to SS28 and found 9 trout and dirty water at every location. Johnny & Seth LaHaye of Mamou, La. fished hard with me today! Redfish saved the day as we headed back inside to Bayou Seveur. We had a nice catch of reds thanks to the 3 and 4 inch LSU BAYOU CHUB MINNOW. All our fish were caught over oyster reefs in 2-3ft. of water. The final tally was 9 trout, 1 flounder, 2 blackdrum and 10 redfish. Mother nature beat us today and the trout were safe. Tomorrows another day!! Good luck fishing.

"DOWN IN DULARGE"----Great fishing the past 2 days for Wes Emerson from Branson, Mo., Randy Hanks & Dale Griffin of Forest, Ms. On Saturday the guys wanted to catch big fish and thats exactly what we did. Bull redfish and bull blackdrum kept the guys busy for most of the day. All the big drum were released but we did fill the big 150Qt. with nice redfish and smaller blackdrum. The guys had a blast with the large fish. Today was all about the trout! Our first stop produced 25-30 nice trout on live minnows before the current went flat. Made a few more moves before finding the mother-load and boy were the yellow-mouths hungry! Tantem rigged LSU BAYOU CHUBS was the answer as we busted up over 100 trout in less than 2 hours! Many fish were undersize but there were
