Striper fishing has held up very well through the fall so far. We have also been getting some of the larger fish coming down from the Waterville Winsow area. The water temp is getting down into the mid 50's so we may be seeing the end to a fantastic season with a few of the local guys landing well over 1000 fish this year. Hope to see some new faces next June as this area has been getting alot more press over the last year or so. See you all next year |

Striper fishing has been fantastic in the Cobbasee stream where it meets the Kennebec with most anglers catching between 10 and 35 fish per night. Fish have been from 18 to 39 inches. Plastic shad in black/pearl or dace/pearl with a 3/8 oz. head have been working best from sunset right through the night. This stretch of stream has some dedicated and friendly guys so you should feel welcome to make conversation. |

the stripers are still hitting in the lower kennebec from back river to the mouth and around the islands near the mouth. you need to move a lot to find them.
