Subject: Fish!!!
Fishing has been hot and steady for the past week. The fish are starting to move into thier summer patterns and break up into smaller groups. I had Jim Wallace out this morning and he caught stripers all morning on flies (8wt) and not one fish was under 24". Nice job Jim... |

Subject: Stripers!!!!
Hi Folks- The season here is well underway, we have had large schools of bass feeding on the surface the last two weeks here in the bay. Most fish are between 20"-26" but some bigger fish have showed up this week (15-25lb range). Things are looking good and we even took some small blues in the maylay last friday. If your visiting Maine this season you have to check out Casco Bay... Stay tuned, -Capt John Ford Portland Guide Service |

Subject: Stripers, Stripers and Stripers...
The fish have finally showed in good numbers and are hungry. They are concentrated in the rivers and warmer shallow waters around Portland, I just got reports of lots of fish along Higgins beach area. All the fish we have been catching are between 20-27", not bad for our first push of fish... -Capt John
