Fished around West Island for Bass on Fri night. 36 to 40 inchers everywhere on the high tide. Chunk baits were providing the greatest number of hookups. Great fun for everyone.

Fished Coxes Ledge on Sun. The left over seas from Fabian were no problem, and the light 5 knot winds, allowed us to set up a good slick in no time. Tally for the day, one Mako, Blue sharks and Bonito.

Fished labor day for 1/2 day, loading the boat with bluefish. Blues were busting bait early from New Bedford to West Island. Added some fluke to the coolers, before we finished up for the morning.

Fished the Cuttyhunk Tournament on 8/15. Loads of Mahi and some Bluefin east of the dump. Sunshine, no wind and no seas made for a great day. Capt. Ken

Subject: Striped Bass Fishing

This year has started with a BANG. Great catches of trophy striped bass are being made in the waters of Cuttyhunk. The June 13 trip boated over 40 bass up to 30 lb. fish. The three anglers took home their limit and released the others for another day.
