Subject: I GOT NESSY
Hello I am sebastian. I am 13 years old and have lived in Beaufort all of my life. Shane is 12 and lived in wisconsin. we were out fishing the sand flats at high tide and saw a school of feeding bonefish. I was fly fishing and with a fast sinking crab that I hand tied. shane ws using the same equipment and flies. We casted strait in front of them i"de say about ten feet ahead.They swam up and an 8pnd bonefish hooked up shane got a 7pnd fish they were great fighters. It was the best day of our lives. |

Jim, I live and have fished in the beaufort area for 25 years. I'm not a guide and do not charge people to take them fishing. I fish from the stream to the flats. Just last week I got a 13# redfish while stalking him on foot in knee deep water. It's an awsome rush to have to chase on foot. The spanish are running now and will run for at least a couple more months. A buddy of mine has a charter service called "Talleys Reel Tales", he has a 24' mako w/ twin 130's. Very nice boat!Iwent on it last week. wanted to know if anyone knows if the spanish missed this yr? I herd they stayed out this yr so far and are already running up at oak island near wilmington NC? Any advice? |
