LOOKING FOR INFORMATION.......

My wife and her friends like to go fishing at the lighted pier at the end of the Texas City Dyke. There is a "regular" there named "Pat" -- he has white hair, blue eyes, mid-late 50's, stocky build but not real tall... says he is a professional fisherman. He drives a old, beater red van and seems to be well liked at the pier.

My wife says he's generally a nice guy, but is consistently flirtatious and inappropriate, despite that she's told him she's married and not interested in his advances. My wife can take care of herself and I'm not worried there. But it concerns me that she and other females feel safe fishing on the pier, so I thought it might be best to ask around.

Apparently, he's been banned from fishing in Freeport. I know nothing about that.

Anyone know him?

Fishing Report For Texas City

Black drum are fair on cracked crab off the piers on the Dike at night. Whiting and croaker are good on fresh shrimp. Trout and flounder are fair on live shrimp under a popping cork in Moses Lake.
