Salmon are starting to run in the local creeks East and West of Dampier. Had a go from shore the other night and pulled about 8 between 2 - 5 kilos. Was a little surprised as bait activity was negligable - had to use strip baits cause livies were absent. Incidental catches of Mulloway - 60cm, shark - too big to land, small doggie Mackeral and a small GT.
