    Default North Morro Bay

The 13ft Boston Whaler made her maiden voyage on Monday. I took my two friends. Foggy morning and we got warned by harbor patrol to stay in. We took the advice and tried to make bait and drift in the bay. No fun at all. Baby bait fish that were hard to get. Then the fog lifted. We went for it out of the harbor. Headed north of the rock and caught blues and lings. One friend caught the first fish of his life. On the first drop! Diamond Jig and cut squid is all we needed. Ocean fishing is so cool. More catching than fishing. Can't wait to go again. That PSL halibut tourny sounds fun. Weather not looking good for my little boat. Keeping my fingers crossed. GL Guys.
