    I don't know about him, but I've seen 3 in the harbor the last month, biggest about a 70lber. (2) actually landed in the 30lb range. 24-30 would make sense if your talking pounds

    A newborn thresher is quite a bit longer then 30" perhaps you have your species confused stretch.

    Not true Michael; look up baby Threshers and almost the first thing you see is one about 10 to 12 inches long in someones hand.
