We put the lines in at 3 mi out of Morro Bay today Sunday looking for bonita. Water looked clear and was 60 degrees but there was nothing on the surface and we read little bait. After an hour and half we switched over to rockfish. In two hours we caught some small assorted rockfish and a couple of lings. Great weather. We saw only one crab pot which suggests there are no crabs. Some boats were way outside looking for tuna. Didn't hear of any success before we left for the day.

Leave the troll rods at home. Much more fun on the bass gear...

Took the 21’20 Parker out Sunday and rockfished most the day. Around 1 when we were coming in saw bonito jumping out of the water right next to us chasing chovies. Trolled for a hour and got 3 10pounders. Fun fight on lighter gear. No reason for trolling meat sticks...... they are still at PSL. Not sure how to add a picture or I would
