For each action, in either spin or cast, we have tested many blank variations to come up with the exact action we know inshore fisherman need. When we say it is an 8 to 17 pound line class rod, you can be sure that is the case. Now we add quality cork grips with rubber butt caps & graphite reel seats with padded inserts in the hoods in our blank thru handle construction. Then we mount our double braced double foot or single foot guides with polished aluminum oxide inserts with strong black thread with silver metallic check wraps. Our guides have 2 or 3 legs not the 4 legs one sees on lower quality rods. We do not skip on the number of guides either - 6 to 7 on cast models & 6 on spin rods plus tip tops.
